Almost exactly one month ago, I teased an episode of
Bump In The Hump with the
Botnek &
I See MONSTAS collab, "
Deeper Love," which was also a part of a remix competition. Now,
Bump In The Hump veteran,
MDK has dropped his version in the
Splice remix competition, and it's everything you'd expect from the Vancouver based producer; brilliant, dynamic and bleepy, bass heavy drumstep.
Currently sitting in sixth place (in terms of likes, despite being the most recent entry),
MDK's version is so complex and full of movement, it's nearly impossible to quantify and categorize, showcasing awesome aptitude and a wide range of abilities. There is no room to grow bored in
MDK's mix, that while holding true to much of the original, it does indeed diverge and create an entirely new and original feel. Head to the

MDK taking the gold medal,
slushii sliding into second and
MRVLZ rounding things out, with an honorable mention to
K Bolt for the
Nero-esque boss battle feels.
